EAT freedom’s meals on display at “Taste! Italians and Food. 1970-2050

We are excited to see our space food on display in the “Future” section of “TASTE! Italians and Food. A relationship between 1970 and 2050.” At the M9 – Museum of the 20th Century in Venezia Mestre from 25 March 2022 until 23 October 2022.

The first major temporary exhibition in an ambitious three-year programme offering visitors an unprecedented reflection on identity related topics of the Italian culture and collective experience, “Taste! The Italians and Food 1970-2050” transforms the third floor of the M9 Museum into a large laboratory of knowledge and exploration of everything that binds Italians to taste, food and conviviality.

Conceptually linked to the section in the Museum of the 20th Century’s permanent exhibition entitled The Italian Way of Life and to a narration of cuisine elevated to the pinnacle of the home, this exhibition rediscovers the paradigm of Italian history and its development in the present and future – with a gaze that is engaging, thought-provoking and surprising. 

The exhibition is accompanied by a calendar of workshops, tastings, guided tours, conferences, talks and other dedicated initiatives, so stay tuned for some more exciting news!
